She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Towson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
In a world where technology is constantly improving, and new ways of communicating, sharing, and working are being integrated into our society, it’s important to know how technology can play a role in your personal security and the security of your personal information.
In the past six years, identity thieves have stolen over $107 billion from US Consumers. Largely, this is a result of the lack of awareness that many of us have when we surf the web, buy something online, or even post on social media. So much information is transmitted through the internet on a daily basis, that it’s practically a gold mine for criminals who want to steal peoples’ money, identity, and even their personal data.
During this presentation, Laura will discuss common misconceptions about personal security, and teach you how to build a safer and more savvy online profile.
(This program is largely funded by a grant from County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and the Baltimore County Council.)
Cost: NO CHARGE for the seminar or breakfast. Please register soon, as space is limited.
