APGFCU’s roots go back to 1938 when a group of local pioneers decided to address the savings and borrowing needs of the military families at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
Now, with the ability to help all those who live, work, worship, volunteer or go to school in Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City, APG Federal Credit Union has become one of the largest financial cooperatives in the area and is able to serve our members and communities as a trusted financial partner.
By sharing our financial experience and providing valuable products and services, we work to build stability and financial independence for our members, one family at a time.
Our Mission is to empower our member-owners to use and control their own money to improve their economic and social conditions. We encourage thrift among our member-owners and create a source of credit at a fair rate of interest by operating our not-for-profit credit union as a democratic, membership-driven cooperative.
